Stories on Wheels was the first documentary produced by Magnify. This documentary film followed the journey of five international storytellers meandering through rural England in a horse–drawn wagon. Magnify is currently developing another project which plans to chronicle the life of one of the storytellers, the late Duncan Williamson.
In 2006 Magnify filmed the Mongol Rally, an expedition organised by 'The Adventurists' where teams attempt to drive cars from London to Mongolia using any route possible. The project took 6 weeks to film as we travelled 10,000 miles across Europe and Central Asia. Whilst in Mongolia we worked with the Christina Noble Children's Foundation to produce one film about homeless children in Ulaanbaatar and another film about the Ger Village, a project run by CNCF for homeless children.
In January 2007 we worked on a further film project for 'The Adventurists'. This film followed the Road to Darjeeling rally as the participants crossed India in auto-rickshaws. We travelled with the team "Curried Away" as they negotiated a passage through the east of India, crossing perilous mountain ranges and racing through chaotic cities.
"Magnify have been an excellent team to work with. They are committed and dynamic and produce exciting and creative documentaries."
